Cooktown is a coastal town 365klms North of Cairns. It can be accessed via the fully sealed inland road, the coast road via the Daintree and Bloomfield Track or the 45 minute flight from Cairns. There are many attractions to visit in Cooktown, including the Botanical Gardens, James Cook Museaum or just enjoy some of the wonderful places like the Bloomfield falls (photo in the background), spot a croc at "croc bend" or drive up to grassy hill for a 360-degree view and a sunset.
